Building a More Resilient, Lower-Carbon Future for the Southeast

Our Strategy

Pure Sky leverages deep regional expertise and established industry relationships to accelerate the development of carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS) solutions across the Southeast. Our experienced, locally based management team works closely with regulators, industrial emitters, oil and gas operators, service providers and carbon management experts to advance projects that deliver measurable decarbonization and long-term economic value.

We actively partner with:

  • Industrial emitters of pre-combustion carbon dioxide (CO₂) (and post-combustion where fuel switching is viable) seeking to immediately reduce their carbon footprint.
  • Oil and gas operators interested in using CO₂ for enhanced recovery operations.
  • Industrial consumers of carbon dioxide pursuing reliable, low-carbon supply sources.
  • Companies and investors seeking verified carbon offset credits

Mission

Our mission is to reduce carbon emissions and promote the sustainable use of carbon resources. We collaborate with industrial producers to capture emitted CO2, transporting it and permanently sequestering it in company-developed regional sequestration hubs. We also monetize captured emissions through 45Q tax credits, voluntary credits and other revenue streams. This ultimately makes our industry partners more resilient and profitable, making our region more attractive for industrial recruitment.

Key Partners

Pure Sky is proud to work alongside leading organizations dedicated to advancing carbon capture, utilization and storage. Together, we’re driving innovation, regional collaboration and sustainable industrial growth.

CCUS Process

Pure Sky develops CCUS projects that safely and permanently store CO₂ from industrial sources.

  1. Capture – CO₂ is separated from industrial emissions using proven capture technologies.
  2. Transport – The captured CO₂ is compressed and moved by pipeline to secure storage sites.
  3. Utilize – When possible, CO₂ is repurposed for enhanced oil recovery or other industrial uses.
  4. Store – CO₂ is injected deep underground into natural geologic formations sealed by impermeable rock, where it remains safely trapped and monitored long-term.
